I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California. We grew up in a farm-like atmosphere, so there were always animals around: chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, horses etc. I learned to ride horses at the tender age of 6 and never looked back!By the time I was 15, I had saved enough money to buy my own horse and took classes in dressage and vaulting.
As a young adult, I worked for six years at the Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital. I was involved in every facet of the practice from kennel help to assistant surgical nurse.
I attended Cabrillo Junior College and then proceeded to UC Davis where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Zoology. I then enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in Sunnyvale, California. Upon receiving my Doctorate degree, I opened my own practice.
