Rod was educated in the art and skill of Farrier at Heartland Horseshoeing School of Lamar, Missouri. He graduated with his certificate in the spring of 2000.
Our farrier / horseshoeing business is now located in eastern Nebraska. Rod serves clients in the greater Omaha and Lincoln areas. In between these cities is Saunders county, where we live, in the town of Wahoo.
Rod grew up to became a carpenter in his grandad and father’s construction businesses. When he started looking for a new challenge he became a farrier / horseshoer.
He thought it was great fit because he was still swinging a hammer and driving nails, but now it was at a moving target!.
Rod was well trained by Chris Gregory out of Lamar, Missouri’s Heartland Horseshoeing School.
