Brad graduated at the Minnesota School of Horseshoeing and Blacksmith in 2009. Since he has been serving the Eastern Iowa area going as far south as Washington, North as Volga, East as Delhi and West as Iowa Falls. He has lots of experience working with barrel racing horses to shave time off the pattern, gaited horses to improve the gait and foundered horses to make them sound again. He acquired a mobile stock this Spring to expand his draft clientele that have horses trained to use a stock, and a heavier duty one based at our home in Brandon for those that need training with a stock. He is a member of the IPFA. Ludden Horseshoeing also offers horse training to a limited amount of horses each year. Specializing in colt starting for good solid trail horses, but also offering refreshers for horses that have gotten naughty sitting in pasture too long. Brad has been training horses professionally since he was a late teen, with Alycia just entering the professional training scene early in 2013. Both have life long experience with horses with their own styles of riding to form a great team to make a solid, well rounded trail horse. Most methods they use are based on the Clinton Anderson style, but they feel no one method will work for any horse so are always learning new ways to approach different issues. They usually have one or two horses for sale as well.
